How did we start off?
Drivers Edge UK started of as a young & next generation driver’s road safety education and mentoring programme back in 2009 by entrepreneur Wale Yusuff. Since then, Drivers Edge UK has developed into a support platform and community for new and young drivers alongside the road safety education programme, which has now been renamed as the S.A.M.E Academy, now a registered charity.
What does Drivers Edge UK do?
Drivers Edge UK is a social enterprise and the fastest growing new and young drivers online community in the UK! All we want is for new and young drivers to become members so we can help them save money on insurance, provide the latest discounts & offers and benefit from FREE an impartial advice in the advice centre. In addition, our forums are there to socialise those burning issues in, giveaways, videos in our TV section and a company blog with the latest news. A portion of out profits are pumped into promoting road safety education through the S.A.M.E Academy aimed at reducing the number of road traffic collisions in young people across the UK.
