Booking, changing and Cancelling your Test

Use the trainer booking facility

How to cancel a driving test booking made on the trainer booking facility?

If you need to cancel or reschedule any of your bookings, you must give at least three days' notice before the date of the test. Saturday is counted as a working day.

If you do not cancel in time, you may lose your fee. To cancel or change your booking, you can call the DSA Helpline on Tel 0300 200 1122. You will need to quote the application reference number given on your weekly schedule.

Under the trainer booking facility (TBF), bookings may not be transferred to another training organisation.

If you repeatedly cancel appointments, the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) can suspend or cancel your agreement under the TBF.

Cancellations by the DSA

The DSA makes every effort to avoid cancelling tests. When this is unavoidable, they will get in touch with you to arrange an alternative appointment.

Payment defaults

If you default on a payment, the DSA will usually cancel the tests and may suspend or cancel your TBF agreement.

Good luck everyone!
